Come and Feel Relaxed During an Uplifting and Transforming Sunday Service!

Come and Feel Relaxed During an Uplifting and Transforming Sunday Service! You're most welcome to join us to check out any Unity service.

We meet weekly at 10:30 am on Sundays at the Masonic Hall, 12 Ridout Street in Lindsay; the entrance and lots of parking are just behind the Academy Theatre, which is located at the corner of Kent and Lindsay Streets. If you're not familiar with Lindsay, please see our map.

Currently, a large proportion of our congregation are "snowbirds", often leaving us with very few, if any, to attend services during the winter months. Therefore, until our "stay-at-home" congregation grows somewhat, our last service each year will be the Sunday before Christmas (December 18th in 2011) and we will resume services on the second Sunday in April (the 8th in 2012). If you are unsure whether we are open or not during January through March, please check the Calendar page to determine our open-closed status.

Our Spiritual Leader

Rev_Rob_-_2011Our Services are led by Rev. Robert (Rob) Hunter (pictured at left), a licenced and ordained Unity Minister. Rob's peaceful demeanor, sincerity and deep spiritual understanding is always apparent. During the service, he will present a lively teaching message with practical application to living a successful life.

What Can I Expect At A Unity Service?

We invite you to "come as you are" (we're not big on pretense) to experience a one-hour service with singing, prayer and a guided meditation. You will be greeted with a hug - or a hand-shake if you prefer - from everyone you meet.

We close each service by singing a Unity favourite, "Let There Be Peace on Earth" and repeating together the Unity "Prayer for Protection".

After A Service

Socializing: Make new, like-minded friends...There's an informal chit-chat with tea, coffee, juice and snacks after each service, to give us a chance to meet other like-minded people and make new friends. Typical_SnacksA typical day's snacks are shown in the p[hoto at right.

Bookstore:About the same time, we open our bookstore, where Vicki or Betty will be pleased to help you consider numerous Unity books and periodicals for sale.

Library: Next to the bookstore is a well-stocked library from which books may be borrowed for up to 6 weeks. There is at least one copy of each book available in the bookstore so, if in doubt about owning a copy, feel free to check it out for a few weeks and have a look through it first!

Healing Circle...On the first and third Sundays of each month, after our socializing, we hold a "hands-on" healing circle (about 1 hour in duration, using prayer and healing energies with such aids as Reiki and Quantum Touch) in which everyone is invited to participate. [NOTE: Since we will re-start in April on the second Sunday, our healing circles for April will be on the 8th and 22nd (2nd and 4th Sundays). We will revert to the 1st and 3rd Sundays in May.]

We do hope you will join us!
